How do i hook up my dvd player to my viera tv

If the player has other outputs try connecting the player to the tv using one of them, ie: use the A/V output instead of HDMI from the player. If the problem goes away there is something wrong with the input on the tv.

Use a SCART lead from TV to DVD player!

Use HDMI from the DVD player and hook up the antenna to the TV..... or DB9 connector on TV.... DO NOT watch DVD from a D VD player or compost cable from the DVD it looks like junk. consult manuel how to hook up your TV

What is the Brand Name and Model Number of your DVD player which you want to connect with your Viera?

you shuld check the cable you are connecting. may be there is some fault that is restraining it from recognizing. if the cable is ok check whether the connections made are ok or not. if that too is perfect check for the connecting sockets. check in tv as well as dvd player. change the faulty socket. hope your problem will be solved.

First, make sure the wiring is ok, any outside cable connection (box) wire from the out..should be plugged into the in on the dvd.vcr... and the wire out from the dvd.vcr to the tv...... now make sure the tv and dvd/vcr is both on Ch 3...........(if cable / sat this will select the ch)..... ok test it pick a channel.........press rec on the vcr,,, 30 seconds is long enough... stop rewind press play ..... yeeay.........

To hook up you need to go from the satellite box to the recorder then to the TV. If you do that then you should be able to record the show on Tv. You can get the manual on the link below. Page 7 tells you how to hook up.

Actually if you do have a ps2 you don`t really need a Dvd upconverter because Ps3 is a full Dvd player +blu Ray Hi Definition.I suggest to take the dvd out and just use the ps3 as a Dvd player
