Hi, my hotmail account has just all of a sudden stopped receiving mail. It says the password is incorrect but I haven't changed the password.

Be sure and look at the top when you open the emails. They may have categorized your email into things like "Focused" and "Other" and set up filters. Your emails may be there under another category. They didn't announce that they were going to do this. Personally I don't like it at all.

If you go to www.msn.com and login to your MSN Mail account - does your password work there?

Create new account again and take note of the info specially when it comes to the email address and the password. There are times that you have to verify your account. and the system will send 1 mail to you to click for you to verify your mail account.

This is nothing to do with hotmail..it is your setting..I assume that you made it all necessary inputs thru
-*setting-*mail account-*add an account- * enter hotmail info
and you are done..
Than you make that account -*Active -and go to main menu to click -*Receive mail-(you must have a wi-fi connection too)
your mails should be downloaded into iPhone.Hope you will succeed.
If problem continues send me an email that I can send you the some screen pictures of iphone for this setting.

Try to login to your Webmail and see if you can login.

when I say Webmail, for example you have a hotmail account, try to login to www.hotmail.com by using Safari or any internet browser.

If you can't login to webmail, that means you're enterring the wrong password. But if you can login, most likely you have a corrupted account profile. Try recreating your account in Entourage.

in case if u have provided an alternate E mail Address at the time of registration. Try to go to msn website , try the forgot password option . Follow instructions . Msn will Send u a password reset link to your alternate email address

if you want to change(reset like you said) just click i forgot the password then follow the instructions, the password should be sent to your alternate email account or if you set a secret question just answer correctly then you can change the password. 

First make sure the Internet is working.
If it is then try to login with the same username and password on www.hotmail.com if you can log in then it's a problem with outlook express if you cant then that is the problem.
To make sure outlook express is correct click on Tools, Accounts then click on Mail tab and then click on your email address and select properties make sure the username and password are correct or retype them.
