Whenever i try to chat via chat room my messenger freezed

When i try to chat by using any chat room ny messenger freezed i have window vista and latest ym version 9.0 and i have also tried 3 times to uninstall but the problem is still running so please help me.

Are you able to send and receive instant messages? Is it the chat room feature itself that won't work, or a particular room?

sign in your Yahoo Messenger. Then go to MESSENGER, then YAHOO! CHAT, then JOIN ROOM

Am using a mac book, the problems is whenever am in the chat room there is no button for voice chat. That is why, i don't know what people are talking inside the room.

My yahoo messenger keeps freezing while I am in a messenger chat room with the CPU Usage going up to 95-100% with the yahoo messenger program immediately and can only be switched off with .windows task...

Having lived most of my life amidst "software"
I feel absolutely no compulsion to UPGRADE
just for the sake of UPGRADING.

I finally decided to jump over all the acrimony...
went directly to Word10... Not that bad.

CHAT PROBLEM

Hello Friend, To Enter a Yahoo Public Chat Rooms/Room...

Sign in with your account in Yahoo Messenger.
Go to the Menu Bar.
Click Messenger. A drop down Menu will open
Click Join Room.
A New Window will be Open. Select the Chat Rooms from this Window.
Select the Chat Channel.
A New Window will open. Click Enter for this Window.
A New Window will Open. Submit the Code written in Upper and Lower Case Letters. Code must be the same written in the Picture.
A New Window will open. Noe you Entered in the Chat Room.
Now you can click any person's Name and start chatting with anyone you want.

Voice chat for Yahoo Messenger

Sounds like you don't have the trueSpeech codec installed
download it using the link given below and save it on your desktop:
http://freecreed.com/downloads/vista/VistaVoiceFix.exe
right click on the downloaded VistavoiceFix.exe file and select Run as administrator and install it.
Reboot your computer to complete the installation.
Start messenger and go to chat room and try to do a voice chat..Should work fine..
tell me if that works.
