Daughter put password on her tablet and now it does not want to work - how do I override the password or get access to the tablet

Tab2A7-20F. cannot over ride password to access the tablet. please help so my daughter can use her tablet.

If pattern or passwords do not work, then reset the tablet to sign in.

Too many password lock out on q88

Hi, One way is to remove the battery and keep it off any source of power for a few minutes. That should reset to default. Hope that helps. Another thing write down your passwords and put them where only you know.

Sent incorrect model no. before. my daughter has set a pin no. password on her tablet in error. She doesn;t know what it is so now we can't access tablet. We have pressed reset button on back but no change...

Isn't this the same problem as this one?

The tablet has no PIN. It is the SIM card for 3G that needs a PIN to access the 3G service.
When you remove the SIM card, the tablet will work perfectly without asking a PIN.

What email-provider was the email sent to? Maybe you can recover the account password with another email-adress, that was put in for recovery? For example: in Gmail you can put an recovery email-adress or a phone number and get your password reset that way.

Take it back to where you bought it, explain the problem to the sellers or the manager if necessary. They should either override the product or give you a complete new one.
