remove bottom rear panel. you will see a large diameter hose going from tub to pump. undo this hose at the tub end - lots of water will come out. filter is inside this hose. remove and clean

SOURCE: Hotpoint Aquarius WD440 Error

Remove the white plastic cover on the back near the bottom. To the right as you look at it their will be a black concertina pipe with a hose clip on its top edge. Undo this and pull the pipe downwards to reveal the filter. There will be a plastic ball inside (which is supposed to be there) remove this and clear out the cr*p.

Re-assemble as removal.

That should fix it

Check first the thermal fuse.

Test heating element to ensure is not grounded, and staying always on. Test the fan and ventilation system.

If you find no fault in there , then test the timer control board.

SOURCE: my hotpoint aquarius wd440 has flashing lights

First of all try cleaning the filter inside the back as described by others if this does not work there is a filter in the top. how you clean this is quite easy. all you do is remove the top of the machine by undoing the 2 screws at the back then pull top top backwards when you have removed the top you well see a large metal casing on the left if you are looking from the the back of the machine the filter is in there to remove the casing you pull the small pipe off then undo 5 star headed screws then gently pull the casing off noteing that there is a large pipe at the front when you have remover the casing you will see the filter (the small pipe you removed at the start fits on this filter) clean the filter then put it all back together.

Hi, I have a Hotpoint Aquarius WF530 washing machine. When I put on a wash program I hear the pump running as per normal part of cycle but nothing else happens. Drum does not fill with water... If I turn...

most probally the control module (bottom of machine) emw electronics are your best bet for a replacement, as otherwise they have to be programmed by hotpoint

I have a HotPoint Aquarius washing machine WD420. When I switch it on,all the lights on the panel jst flash on and off continiously and nothing else happens.

If you have not already done so press the start/ cancel button for 3 seconds.
Switch off, wait 3 seconds, then switch on again, and try a programme
If it still will not work, then it is likely to be the display module, or the main power module. Also make sure the dryer knob is turned to off.
Please rate my solution.
Thankyou.
