When I unplug it from the back and re plug it in the picture will come back on. Would this be a bad power supply problem?

Hi, this is quite a common problem for plasma screens and LCD screens. The fluroscent backlight is more than likely faulty and would need replacing. The best thing to do is to take it to a service centre because there are no user servicable parts inside the plasma.

If you are not able to bring up the TV's onscreen menu as well, it appears you have a problem with the TV's mainboard. You didn't mention if the TV had any blinking error codes so if there aren't any lights flashing on the front, are there any on the sides or back to indicate the problem? Not all TV's present error codes, but since the TV is maintaining power, it's worth a shot to look. You could try a power drain:
1. Unplug the product's power cable so the device is not grounded to the house.
2. Press and HOLD the product's own power button for 1 minute to drain the capacitors.
3. Plug the product back into a wall outlet and try to turn it on.
Note: This procedure works with battery operated devices as well so remove the batteries and
hold down it's power button. Electricity can remain in capacitors and on circuit boards
enough to prevent normal functionality. By clearing the residue electricity, your product
will have a fresh start and many times this will resolve a buggy or non-responsive device
that appears to be dead.
If this still doesn't resolve the issue, service would be required so you would want to contact Samsung regardless of your warrant standing for service options.

Sounds like the digital board needs replaced.

I doubt that moisture damaged the SMPS bd.
There are many circuit boards in your set and it will take a trained samsung tech to find the problem.
