I realise this is an old post but its for others searching the problem as i have just done. There are two batteries one for the digital and the other for the analogue, once you've got the back off undo the six screws and lift off. There is a tiny battery under this for the analogue feature of the watch.

  1. The "AC "or "All Clear Circuit" button if the watch has one will be found on the back of the movement. It will usually be a small silver or gold dot marked "AC" or reset. In some cases it will be a small hole or plunger you depress with a pin punch.
  2. Clear watch memory. Look for and find the small gold or silver dot on the back of the Seiko watches movement. It will be marked "AC" if it exists. Use the metal tweezers and touch the "AC" button with one prong and the battery with the other. In some cases you just push in the plunger on the "AC" button. In the case of a plunger or hole press it with a pin punch.

Reset chronograph hands on Accurist 7344

To reset the chronograph hands on an Accurist 7344 watch, you will need to follow these steps:
  1. Pull out the crown to the second click (time-setting position)
  2. Press and hold the top button (located at 2 o'clock) until the chronograph seconds hand returns to the 12 o'clock position.
  3. Release the button and then press and hold the bottom button (located at 4 o'clock) until the chronograph minutes hand returns to the 12 o'clock position.
  4. Release the button and push the crown back in to the normal position.
It's important to note that these steps may vary depending on the specific model of your Accurist 7344 watch. If these steps don't work, refer to the manual or contact the manufacturer for more detailed instructions. Additionally, if the chronograph hands don't move at all, check the battery and make sure it's properly inserted and the watch is working properly after replacing it, if not, contact Accurist customer service for more assistance.

Accurist mb929b manual

The problem with the advice to visit the Accurist website is that the pdf manual they publish contains the instructions for digital settings, but NOT instructions for incrementing the analogue hands. I have emailed them about this, but meanwhile, there's no information readily available on the web for changing the analogue time on this model.
