Stove top stopped working but oven and warmer element work.

The stove top elements (except the warmer element) stopped working suddenly. Oven still worked. Flipped breaker, but still did not work. After about a month we flipped breaker again and it started working. Worked for about 3 weeks, then stopped again. Flipped breaker and got an error code F 20. Elements still not working but oven and warmer element work.

You didn't specify the brand or model, if this is a Frigidaire, the Frigidaire technical documentation states that the most likely cause is a bad Electronic Oven Control (EOC).

Try checking the wire harness and the P4 connector at the EOC. If the wire harness and the connector are fine, replace the EOC.

You have a defective breaker. Once you replace it the oven will get the correct voltage restored.

Top oven element on shacklock stove. Does it work on bake. My one only works on grill. What does that mean

Quite normal...top element is for grill/broil only. Bottom element is for bake only. If the grill element were to come on during baking a cake it'd burn the top of your cake to a crisp.
Some grill/broil elements cook at 500-700 degrees.

Why would there be no heat from frigidair oven elements?

Make sure the oven timer is set properly, if its turned off, the oven will not go on. Also check if the oven has separate fuse, it may have blown.

Oven element blew.no top burners working.replaced oven element.nothing works except clock and oven light

Check your main fuses, it sounds like you are only operating on 120 volts. One of them is blown.Or if on breakers, switch stove breaker off then on again.

My stove SVE47100C the elements in the oven do not heat.I have replaced the computer panel a year ago as well as the element

Hi,

If both of the oven elements stopped working at the same time, and the stove top elements work then the problem is most likely in the high limit fuse. It is the common component to both oven elements.

The control could be bad, but I would have someone test the high limit first. It should read 0 resistance if it is good.

All stove top elements and oven wont work

Go to your home circuit/fuse panel and reset the fuse or circuit breaker for the range.

Kenmore oven not working

Hi, You need to unplug the stove, take the back panel off and check continuity on the bake element or after the back panel is removed, plug the oven back in, and turn oven to bake. You should get 240Volts to the two terminals on the bake element. If you have 240 Volts, the element is bad and needs replaced. I can ship you the new element.

Hope this helps
