Do flash light test on unit. If you see images then go for the t con board. If no images it could either be your inverter board or the strips.

Not true that its def the power. Mine did the same thing. Green light, no sound or video. Replaced the power board with same results. Waiting on main board now.

Its either a bad power board or it could also be the main, but power supply boards are common failure on older sets, you could remove the back and see if you see bad capacitors and replace them instead of replacing the entire board for a couple bucks if your tech savvy.

First, you need to know the sub-model of your TV.

It is called "chassis" and is shown on the back of the TV on the label where the model number is shown.

For example it can be "P42849-00" or "P42849-01".

Then search at www.coppelltvrepair.com/search or just go to www.coppelltvrepair.com and enter the link for SANYO DP SERIES to search for that.

if you have comcast you can use your remote to change the setting to DVD and then change it back to cable. your picture should then come back

its time to out it in shop and have it serviced. 1 of the modules caused the power supply to fail. that is why the grn. lite..

The picture won't come on my sanyo hdtv lcd. model number:dp37647. The power went off and when everything came on, the tv no longer showed the picture. The power button still works though! It show the tv to be recieving power, but no corresponding action from the screen or sound! HELP!
