After replacing system battery in Partner 18D it still shows to replace battery and ext 10 & 11 not working.

SOURCE: my screen on my partner 18d displays a message of

the system battery is there for example a power outage, if a power outage occures then the battery will keep the phone from resetting and loosing all of your phone numbers. so depending on what kind of battery it needs then you might want to call the manufacture.

Get yourself 2 alkaline AA batteries, keep the power on, and look for the door on the lower part of the face on the ACS processor module. Pop the cover and replace the batteries.

Lucent Partner 18D cant fully reboot itself

That one doesn't sound too good.
You could perform a reset through programming which should clear the scratch pad.
Thats done by entering programming on either ext. 10 or 11
Press feature 00 then the left hand intercom twice.
Next enter # 728, the display should say reset save all then reboot the system.If the problem is still there, then the processor is malfunctioning and will need to be replaced.

Get yourself 2 alkaline AA batteries, keep the power on, and look for the door on the lower part of the face on the ACS processor module. Pop the cover and replace the batteries.
