Second request re: taylor lithium electronic scale model 7000 not working after changing battery twice. Yes interested correctly

Again have replaced old battery with new battery twice and still does not work. And again yes inserted battery correctly...duh

On Amazon this scale got 24% 5 star and 43% 1 star rating.
In many cases it quit working or broke in some way.
"I owned this model for 1 year before it gave me the "batt" signal. after I spent another $7 on new lithium batteries, it turned out the scale was broken. looking on the web, I discovered lots of other stories like mine. advice: find another brand."

Turn it over - take out battery and check with multimeter to ensure it is still workable - let sit for 10 to 15 seconds - replace battery - set it on level surface and step on and back off. Step on it again and it should now work.

My taylor scle model 7000 V 1812. I WENT TO CHANGE TE BATTERY , BUT I AM NOT SURE HOW IT GOES BACK IN. ANY WAY I PUT IT, IT DOESNT TURN ON

Battery must be 3V CR2032 and the + sign goes up with scale upside down ( + visible when inserted).

The taylor lithium electronic scale says 00 and then ERR. there is no ERR2. should i change the batteries? it never said lo.

If you get an "Err" or "Error" message, you will need to step off of the scale, wait a few seconds and then step back onto the scale.
