How do I mute the ring on a specific phone
SOURCE: we have nortel t7316 phones in our office. one
Programming is done on M7310, M7324 and T7316 sets.
To set up ringing you need to enter programming by pressing the feature key followed by **266344.When prompted to enter the password enter 266344.
The screen should say TERMINALS&SETS. The 4 top line/feature keys are now used for programming.
At the terminals&sets prompt,
press the show key (top right arrow).
The display should now ask for an extension number. Enter extension number you wish to program ringing on.
Press the show key (top right arrow)
The display should sat LINE ACCESS
Press the show key (top right arrow) .
The display should say LINE ASSIGNMENT.
Press the show key (top right arrow) .
The display ask for a line number. press list
The display should say line 001: appear & ring
press the Chng key till it says appear only
press next key (lower right arrow)
The display should say line 002: appear & ring
repeat the procedure the same as line 001 for the remaining ringing lines
press the release key when finished

You need to have a technician program your set to ring on incoming calls.

You can use the do not disturb function on your set. When used it will stop all ringing on your set(both line ring and intercom ring). To turn on DND, press feature 85, to turn the DND back off press feature #85.

Hi Lisa, it sounds like you need to take the phones that you don't want to ring out of the ring group, to find out which group rings you will need to go into MMC714 ( I've uploaded a video which will help you) once you know which group this is you can then go into MMC 601 and delete those members. temporarily turn them off use do not disturb (feature 85, feature #85 to
turn Do Not Distrub off) Turning off the ringing permanently will require you to program the set. Programming is done on M7310,
