It wont drain or run. Already cleaned the drain basket on the bottom out but still wont work

You may have blockage up b4 pump need to remove hose from outer tub and clean out or pump is bad and just spinning motor you hear prop is stripped

I think I have replied to this already. Filters or drains might be clogging up. Clean dishwasher using Finish dishwasher cleaning kit.

Suds Detection


Sd is displayed when the machine/motor control, by analyzing drag on the basket, detects a suds-lock condition, and is steady on while the control then runs a mini-clean out cycle. If the clean out cycle is unable to correct the over-sudsing problem, the cycle ends and Sd flashes in the display. This may signify:
Excessive detergent usage.
Basket cannot engage during drain step.
Mechanical friction on drive mechanism, not allowing basket to engage.

As the water did not drain completely then check the drain hose & drain pump filter located inside the front bottom access panel for any clogs/obstructions, if you have already cleaned these parts and the unit will not work then replacing the drain pump is recommended repair. The release button on the bottom of the grounds basket is not working or the small drain hole is plugged. Make sure that you are using the correct size #4 paper filters to hold the coffee grounds. Remove the basket and check to make sure that the release button is working freely. Put some water in the basket and push the bottom of the basket. The water should drain. If it does not drain, You will need to replace the basket assembly.
Check the carafe to make sure that the lid of the carafe is pushing the drain button up to release the liquid in the basket.

If the washer is not draining then it is due to a clogged drain pump or a drain filter or a kinked drain hose. To resolve the issue you'll need to clean the drain hose, inspect if the drain hose is plugged. If the hose is fine, then remove the front kick panel and access the drain pump and filter, if you are unable to find the pump and filter remove the back panel as well and trace the drain hose to the bottom of the tub. There is a drain filter connected with the drain pump. It usually gets clogged, and needs to be cleaned every 6-8 months or so. The drain filter is a small white filter connected to drain pump with a hose. If it still doesn't work then you'll need to check the connections of the drain pump, check the electrical connections with a multimeter. If it still doesn't work then you would need to replace the drain pump. Hope this helps... Please back for any further assistance.

There is a screen in the drain that is plugged.

It sounds as if there is something in the bottom part of the dishwasher arm (it sprays the water around the bottom of the dishwasher). I would suggest that you take out the baskets and then remove and clean all of the parts that water comes out of as well as the bottom drain. If this works or does not, I would also suggest that you run an empty load using 1/4 cup vinegar. Hope this helps!
