Samsung refrigerator RF 323TEDBSR On the freezer portion we had a power outage, now the freezer is not cooling propperly. I think it needs to be reset. Where is hte reset button on this model?

It's possible that your refrigerator could have it's own capacitor/battery that needs to be charged to a certain level before every portion of your fridge functions again. You can give the fridge 1.5 hours to be plugged in before checking your freezer temperature again.

this is the control board you will need for your model if unplugging the unit for 5 minutes doesn't fix the problem. If they are LED lights, then I point my finger at this. This is a plug and play board with molex connectors. Very easy to install with unit unplugged. You can manually reset the display and check for error codes by holding the top left and top right button on your user interface for 5 seconds in unison FOR 5 or more seconds after all the lights flash.

That sounds like a power glitch. Try pressing and holding the power freeze and power cool buttons at the same time for about 8 to 13 seconds and see if it clears.

Most refrigerators have the evaporator in the freezer and use air flow to cool down the refrigerator compartment. Can you tell if the defrost cycle is working, IS there ice on the evaporator. Can you defrost it. Try taking it off the power freeze cycle and also power cool cycle. When you cleaned underneath did you find a pan that had water in it. sometimes the drain clogs up and the condensate just sits in the freezer and refreezes the water, this acts like a blanket and slows down the cooling in the refrigerator. see if you can look at see if the drain is clogged, this may be your problem. Sounds like one of two problems. Either the fan motor that pushes the cold air from the freezer is not turning (Burned out) or stuck with ice because of an incomplete defrost of frost. Check to make sure the fan is running (any time the fridge is running) if not remove the panel in the freezer and see if there is abuild up of frost or ice around the fan. If you are not comfortable with removing the panel let it defrost with unit unplugged for a 24 hrs with the doors open and try again.

Please check other question on this subject, but long story short is that the unit needs to be completly defrosted, your freezer is what cools your fridge and if there is ice build up on the evaporator air cannot flow through to the fridge.
