Am using vodafone 785 it fall inside the water i take it out quickly but now is asking me to put the unlock pin of the device but is not giving me the button

You should put back the original sim and it should work. You can ask Vodafone for the sim unlock code, but they only will give that if the contract is over. Perhaps, when you can explain you have to go abroad they will give it sooner. With the vodafone sim in it you then should enter the code. But they will explain how.
Some (less legal) sites offer unlock codes for a fee, but it not always works.

When the phone is unlocked, you only have to give in the pin that belongs to the sim you did put in.
If the phone is not unlocked, you won't be able to unlock it, because only the first owner with his sim, can ask for the unlock code. Lots of providers want you to continue a contract for a certain period, even when the original contract had finished. Go back to the person you bought the phone and insist he helps you with the unlocking.

Default 4 Digit user code: 1234 or 0000
Default 6 Digit Security code: 123456 or 000000


Type *#06# at the mobile screen to know IMEI no of your mobile.
send the IMEI no to me and i will reply you with unlocking code.

Hi,the best and only way to get the unlock code for your sagem phone,is to contact your service provider(vodafone) and request for the unlock code,which will be given to you for free.
However,they might be asking some funny questions,just tell them you are travelling to a country where vodafone does not exist like Ghana.

Default is always 12345678 then it asks you for new PIN. Enter 0000 and enter 0000 again to confirm but if it says incorrect PUK, please stop there and call vodafone customer care line using a different (friends maybe) phone and ask them for correct PUK. they will give it to you FREE.
Be carefull because putting in an invalid PUK code many times can make your simcard permanentlly unusable!!!

The only way to get the PUK code is to call the service provider(not the phone maker) and give them the number that is on the sim card,They will give you the code needed to unlock it.So just have the sim card in hand to read off the number when they ask.
