First cross-check the battery if its taking charge. This first possibility is faulty battery.
I the battery seems to be ok, then there is something wrong with the phone, mainly with the firmware.

This means the phone is locked to a different carrier. You need to contact that carrier and have them give you the unlock code for that device. There are programs and companies out there that will unlock phones, but they charge a fee. If you contact the provider the phone is locked to they will give it to you for free.

Follow the sequence : MENU -> CONNECTIVITY-> GLOBE SVCS-> PREPAID SERVICES-> GPRS SETTINGS. That's it,enter ur phone unit T630 and send. Wait for the instructions from globe. Or u can simply type T630<>and send to 2951. Gud luck!
do you fully charge your phone? i know for sure that the red blinking light that you are saying that flashes near the joystick only indicates that your phone is low in battery and need to charge. maybe you're phone is not charging properly. you can also try changing your battery as your second to the last option, of course the last is buy a new phone^^
Sony ericsson phones have a weird way of diconnecting the charger from the phone, u have to pull up at a 45-50 degree angle to release the cable, perhaps you have accidentally twisted the pins inside the actual phone, or the may be dust obstructing the pins in the phones socket
