Since there are various different warning lights exactly which warning light is appearing after 20 minutes?

If it is the oil service warning light that is appearing then that has to be reset manually when the oil service is done.

Newer or luxury vehicles have reminder sensors for routine check ups on vehicles after so many miles like oil changes and air filters you will need to find the sequence to reset the light. Also I am not sure about the air bag. Might be a loose,wire connected to the air bag

If you had all of this work done at the dealership they should have reset the light for you once the service was done. If not, they should reset it for you as a courtesy as you are their customer. It is possible that they did reset it and it is throwing new codes. I would return to the dealer and state your issue and ask them to check/reset the MIL.

To do this yourself, you can jumper pins, but then you don't know what the codes were. I would strongly suggest any owner of an older BMW to purchase a Peak scanner either online or from a BMW parts supply store like Bavarian Auto, Turners, etc. (or find a friend with one!) For a $100 or less you can read your codes and reset oil, airbag, and check engine lights.

Hi. The oil service light in red indicates that the vehicle is over due for a vehicle service..OIL SERVICE.. If you don't have it done, it could all go wrong. Have the light reset after Service and then it will monitor for your next service.bye for now.

Fuel filter replace.
Brakes/pads/oil/discs/dust proof sealers,
Timing /tension.
Valves adjust.
Wheels alignement/balance .
Tires condition/pressure.
Engine compartiment belts.
Battery/alternator condition/charge rate.
Lights alignement/hight ceck.
Thermostat open/thermoswitch triggers fan.
Coolant ceck/change.
AC pressure.
Doors/trunk/hood/roof look/hinges oiling.
Remote battery ceck.
Pretty much everything if u care 4ur car.

I am hoping when the oil change was done someone notice if the oil pan is dented a knock is of concern did you loose oil pressure? changing oil did it come out silverish black? and no outside air sensor doesnt and wont make this problem , You already did sparkplugs does it still shake when it warms up if it does you have a mechanical internal failure the concern is the knock

The above "Guru has no idea what he is talking about. The yellow oil light means you need a new oil level sensor, if your oil is indeed full. Its located in the oil pan and costs around $100. Oh, and oil changed are around 15,000 miles, not 6000 miles. When the BMW is due for an oil change or inspection, the display says so. The yellow light is low oil. Please avoid giving advice when you don't know what you're talking about.

If ou fixed whatever happened during the oil change, the light will cycle off after about 3 drive cycles.

The check enine light just tells you that you are not meeting emissions right now. Only be concerned if it's flashing. That means you are sending unburned fuel to your catalytic converter whih will overheat and self destruct.

Look for a vacuum hose disconnected and check all the onnections to sensors such as, vehcile speed control sensor, mass air flow sensor, crankshaft position sensor, camshaft poition sensor, throttle position sensor, etc. Good luck.
