I realize that participants are sincerely trying to help others, but I find that most solutions provided do not resolve the problem. That's because the solution does not go far enough. For example, "Reset the camera to factory settings", but, how is that done?

Check to make sure you have not inadvertently set the camera into manual focus mode. Many cameras have 2 modes: auto focus and manual focus.

My lens will not focus. Pictures are all coming out blurry no matter what setting I have the camera on, and no matter how much I zoom in or nout.

Hi

You know sometimes the lens will not focus if you have a physical damage etc., first of all i would like to clarify some points.

1. Did you place your camera near to a strong magnetic area?
2. Did you drop the camera?
3. Did you use Zoom in Zoom-out continuously at the same time?

for the first point i am sure it was exposed to strong Magnetic field, as and when it is exposed the coil of the zoom lens which move the lens in and out will get out of place and makes it impossible to maintain focus. If so then better is to open the camera and re-adjust the lens. But if you are confident to put it back then open it or try to slowly wiggle the camera and check if it gets better.

When i zoom it all the way to 9 it gets blurry.

The rear lens may have to adjusted for focus at this magnification. If you adjust it at this setting it may be better in focus in the lower settings for you.

When i turn on my camera to take a pic it is blurry but if i zoom the lens all the way close to the object it takes a good pic.

Your auto-focus is not working. Inside the camera is a motor that adjusts the lens to focus on an object automatically. It is currently stuck to "close" or near focus. However, it doesn't go far focus. Check the focus functions of you camera - try to use manual focus.

I have a Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z80 Digital Camera. And my promblem is that once i zoom out everything is blurry. The whole picture is blurry but once I zoom out it is a bit better but not as much. I need...

Try cleaning the lens gently with a lens cloth or maybe a damp paper towel? Other than that - you may have something stuck in your lens that is making everything blurry when you zooom in...or the lens may need to be replaced to be fully functional. Do you notice any blurry spots when you zoom out that get bigger when you zoom in? If so something may be stuck in your lens. Good luck!

Repair lens PDX10

It sounds like the optics in the lens are no longer calibrated. It needs to be looked at by a professional.

GE EASY CAM

That particular model has Easy Focus; ensures crystal clear videos - just turn focus ring to adjust range from 10 cm infinite. I do believe if you turn it to the left it will zoom in, and to the right is zoom out. Could be the reverse of that tho. The focus ring is around the lense.

Focus on zoom

it is not the ccd problem .
the lens adjustment and ccd have no relation.actually when optical unit was replaced ,it is not fixed properly and due to internal lens de-adjustment.you would find blurry images on zooming.
it must be re-adjusted.
