Disconnect the element and the fan and check them both for continuity with a multimeter. If the circular element or the fan fails, nothing works, so it could be either.
First check and make sure you are not in Sabbath mode in the manual. if you are not in that mode then most likely your oven went over temp and the thermal fuse shorted out. You would need the fuse and most likely a temp sensor because it went over temp. I am not there to do tests but that is what is most likely.
Hi guys. Does the Defy Gemini multifuction thermofan oven have a bi-metallic thermal switch? My oven completely switches off around 180 degrees celcius, then resets itself. I dont see a thermal cut-out, so left with the thermostat or timer PCB maybe?
