Having looked at the turntable it seems to mount the cartridge with two bolt like fittings. The Cartridge you want has two mounts on the side that will take those bolts.
You will have to adjust the arm to compensate for the weight differences between the two cartridges, but once done it should play fine.

If Ortofon om 10 cartridge match for my str8-50 turntable?

That particular cartridge looks to me that it will fit the headshell of the turntable. So you can go ahead and buy it. I tend to look at the customer reviews of electrical items. If you get over 80 to 90% positive reviews for an item, then you should be okay with it.

Most cartridges will fit the headshells of turntables, the quality of them is largely a price issue, plus how fussed you are on the quality of the hi-fi sound of them. In the end it's a personal choice, since people's hearing is not the same.

Pro-ject Debut III with USB turntable - produces high levels of distortion and static - why? (Has an internal pre-amp, so gets plugged into line level inputs. Is properly grounded. Line level input...

which pre-amp do you use, since the pre-amp and usb are cheap made components, especially pro-ject, i was amazed which low quality pre-amp i bought for 250 euro.

I bought an Audio Technica USB AT LP 120 Turntable last June. It worked fine as a turntable, but I was never able to get good recordings of vinyl without distortion. But now I have another problem: when...

Sorry it could be the cartridge! They can fail at anytime, only the stylus will wear with time. However it could be the amplifer's magnetic cartridge pre-amp. If you look inside your amp and trace back from the phono socket you should find the pre-amp. If it is distorting on both channels it's probably an IC that has failed.

it sounds like your cartridge is shot and damaged.
this turntable has fixed cartridge and only the stylus can be changed.

Turntable skips during playback

The only thing I can say is to make sure you set up your cartridges correctly - click HERE FOR INSTRUCTIONS on BALANCING YOUR TONEARM properly.

If, you've balanced your tonearm, and set up your cartridges correctly, then you should not have any problems. Unless, your tonearms are damaged. But this is highly unlikely. I just think you need to balance properly.

Another note, Ortofon Concorde have a design flaw, in that they don't connect very well to the Technics tonearm. The Concorde's, have short and stubby connections on the rear, making for poor connections to the tonearm. Ortofon has addressed this issue by releasing the Ortofon OM series cartridges, and mount them to standard Technics Headshell.

If you still can't figure this out, feel free to give our techs a call 24/7 @ 1.866.668.1596 ext 1 - they can walk you through setting up, and properly testing your tonearm to see if it's damaged or not.
