Featherweight 132Q Singer sewing machine. The top thread is loose. How do I fix that?

try adjusting the top thread tension to a lower number,,like if the machine tension is on 2 then take the tension up to 3 & if that doesn't give the correct tension go to 4 & see if that tension is good for the correct stitch

Singer 522. when ever I finish sewing a piece and pull the threads out to cut the bobbin thread always comes out of the case so that when I start up it makes a mess. I have tried tightening the tention...

Sounds like the bobbin case spring is failing to hold the thread firmly - especially if you've already tried to adjust the tension and it hasn't fixed the problem.

I'd suggest you replace the bobbin case, preferrably with a Singer genuine part.

Looking for sewing machine manual for singer sewing machine model 6218. The bottom bobbin tension is so loose that it forms many loops under the fabric.

I went to the singer website & typed the number in 6218 & it came up with nothing, is that the correct model number?
the tension problem try adjusting the top thread tension to 3-5, & see if that helps the loose tension

Fixing the bottom thread when it sews loose

It could be that you threaded the machine with presser foot down.

When the foot is down, then tension control is closed and the thread cannot seat for proper control to the needle.

What appears to be a bobbin problem is actually the top thread not having the tension needed (thead is not where it should be within the tension control) to form a stitch.
