There are some settings to moderate the volume. Sometimes commercials are louder. Go through the audio portion of the menu and see if you can change a setting to fix this
Sometimes you can connect a lower ohm speakers. However you must NOT go lower than the amp can take. For example if the amp has 8ohm as the lowest for it you can go to 8ohm speakers, if it has 16ohm speakers connected, but must connect 6ohm speakers. If the amp allows 6ohm than you can connect 6ohm speakers. Changing from higher level speakers to lower level ones will make the volume louder. But you must not connect ones lower than the rating of the amp.
The only other way is if there is something wrong with the amp and that it won't go higher due to a fault.
This clock is supposed to have an automatically "increasing" volume feature (starts off low, gets louder over a minute or so).
If not sufficient, look on the top right side of the clock, there should be an up/down volume control. It is a black oval-shaped button with a picture of a sound speaker in the middle. Push it upward to increase volume and downward to decrease volume. Unfortunately, you have to have a flashlight or light on to see it because none of the controls are illuminated.
If the original recording is on low volume then you will get louder sound on the player device while if the recording is at high volume the you get low levels on player. try recording at lower volume settings on the phone. Then when you play it it will sound louder on increased volume.
