How to shift files from tablet to computer - Tablets & eReaders

You will be stuck in fastboot if you have failed to flash an img file. You will have to boot a boot.img file using fastboot then download the last update to get your tablet back to normal.
Download the following file onto your computer...
K1_A301_03_03_110829_US.zip
Then unzip on the computer. You will see a file named "boot.img". Make sure your tablet is connected to the computer and you have the fastboot binary. Then run the following command in the directory you just unzipped the file
fastboot boot boot.img
This will allow you to boot up your tablet but the bootloader will STILL be stuck in fastboot. Therefore you will have to update your system. Download the same file above into the Download directory of your tablet. Rename it to update.zip. Dowload the following XML file...
K1_A301_03_03_110829_US.xml
and rename it to update.xml (NOTE: the system file manager won't let you change the extension so just rename to "update". Power off the tablet. Then hold down the Volume + key and hold down power button until it comes on. That will boot the system into recovery and install the update. In a few minutes you will be restored and your tablet will work normally. NOTE: YOU MAY LOSE YOUR DATA and may have to reinstall your apps.
If your boot partition isn't a mess like mine was, you may be able to just flash the system partition from the above zip file by using...
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot reboot
The key is that a fastboot flash must be successful in order for your device to boot normally.

Download ES File Explorer. Locate the folder where the pictures are, long press each file or select all by default, copy and paste files from the table to the SD card within the tablet. Alternatively, you can connect your tablet to your PC and access it via the PCs file explorer in the same way you would enter files within your hard drive. Copy and paste the files or drag and drop from the table to your PC.

There are two ways:

• From computer. Use micro USB cable,connect it to tablet. Computer will detect the tablet as storage device. Open explorer. Copy your files from computer to tablet in the folder where you want to store/save.

• Use micro SD card. Insert microSD card to computer/laptop. Copy your files to microSD card. Remove microSD card. Insert it on your tablet. Access the files. To access files on microSD card, you can see on this video :

You also can use flashdisk as a files transfer storage.
If using flashdisk,transfer procedur is same as for microSD.

If it's an Android tablet there should be a File Manager App.

You should be able to use this app to Copy, Move or Delete music files. Adroid file managers are pretty limited and basic and they don't let you mess with or even see most system files but they do have the capability to manipulate Music, Photos, Videos, etc.

If you have the USB cable, another alternative would be connect your tablet to your computer and use the computer's file manager to move the Music. This is often the faster, easier and safer option.

To transfer files directly from a usb flash drive you will need a USB on the go adapter. If your tablet is rooted, StickMount will make the process much easier.

You can also use a computer to transfer the files, plug both the tablet and the flash drive into a computer and use windows to transfer them between the two devices.

Additionally you could use some sort of cloud storage to transfer them, attach the usb drive to the pc, and copy the photos to a service like Google drive or Dropbox, then simply download the files onto the tablet using that services app.

One opiton you have is to overwrite the current setup on the tablet. The download for the firmware file can be found at Proscan site here: http://www.curtisint.com/html/custservice/manuals/PRO_PLT7223G_FIRMWARE.ZIP Unzip the files on your computer and extract the contents to your desktop. Now, use the micro usb cable that came with your tablet and connect one end on your tablet first, leave the computer end open for now. Find the small pinhole next to your tablet`s usb port and use a small pin to press it, while plugging the cable to your computer. Your PC should now say finding a new USB device. From the list, select iRockusbDriver from the folder to install the driver. From here, run the RKbatchTookl.exe file that was extracted. On the choose file path screen, select Update.img and click on Upgrade. The process should only take a few minutes and your tablet will be reset when done.

It is usually an android setting.

When plug the tablet into computer an icon appears. If menu don't appear automatically (as on most newer devices) slide it and select file transfer instead charging.
