Do proton tv backlights have a replacement fuse.

Of the thousands of models of TV's manufactured in the last 10 years with LED lighting there has never been a set with a fuse in the backlight section. Most likely the lamp strips are bad and need replacing

Dashboard backlight works together with the tail light. Both the headlight and tail light is controlled by relays. Check the engine bay fusebox. Look at the inside of the fusebox cover and you can see the 'location map'of relays and fuses. Theheadlight and tail light relays sits side-by-side. Change both and check for blown hedlight fuses..

Normally all the backlight inverters have fuse. It would be an SMd type.

No. There no seperate fuse for backlighting.

Under the dashboard, right side of driver for RHD. The cover has good labels of all fuses.

Not fuse relay box that plugs into fuse box.

Check the backlight inverter the is the part that turns on the TV light so that you can see the picture. If there is power going into it usually 24v DC and the backlight is not turning on then it's provably your backlight inverter that is bad. If you look at it it has a part number on it that you cna use to order anotherone. You can order it from www.interliquidparts.com

A 4 flash shutdown indicates a backlight problem. It can be acused by a bad backlight inverter board (the backlight power supply) or by a defective backlight in the panel. There are fuses on the backlight inverter board called "picofuses" which will need to be checked in order to isolate the problem to the board or the panel. If the fuses are good, you have to replace the panel (very expensive!). If the fuses are opne, most likely the back light inverter board has failed.

Looks like Power Supply fuse is gone. Replace with recommended rating and type of fuse and try again.

Have you asked proton about the bulb or inverter or power supply. Proton is going to be the only place to get them. Soory to have to tell you but proton doesnt have good customer service.
