I do not know how to adjust the volume on when I select the pro logic option
SOURCE: LEFT SPEAKER HAVE STATIC SOUND AND NOT CLEAR
hey there
The magnets collect dust and cause static noise. The wire connections could be loose too. Clean the dust off the magnets and diaphrams(carefully) and check all connections to the speakers.
Check maybe a microphone is on and is close t o your speaker it also happens a lot .
also, if the speaker is very near to a powersource and monitor, this would also give the static sound, so put it away from those 2
also check the wiring because loose wiring tend to minimize the sound output of the speaker. if you see a cut there, its better to tape it up or rather replace the whole wire to successfully get rid of the static sound problem.
When the sound cracks or the effect of the surround is difficult to hear, This only means that the system
activates the Dolby digital bass redirection circuitry and outputs the bass frequencies of the speaker from
subwoofers. thus, your other speaker sometimes recieve too much frequency making it sound dull or too static.
feel free to post any questions that you have
thanks for using fixya
SOURCE: speaker set up and adjustment
CHECK THE FRONT OF YOUR AMP FOR A SET UP BUTTON OR MENU BUTTON,THIS SHOULD LET YOU SET UP YOUR SUB AGAIN.
HOPE THIS HELPS
CABLE GUY.
SOURCE: Volume Knob does not adjust volume, but remote does.
Check your owners manual for "factory reset" this will reset the main micro-processor. Otherwise the encoder (volume pot) needs cleaning, soldering or replacement. It could also be a cracked circuit board (if it has recently been hit)
SOURCE: Kenwood VR-305 receiver surround speakers will not work
make sure that all input cables are in the correct positon also make sure that any inputs you are using don't have a macrovision in them that will also kill your sound due to copyright laws and stuff but main thing check all wires coming in to receiver and if you need more inputs go to walmart and get a rca splitter basicaly its a 1 in two out connection to add more cables in the input
