take off inner door panel, lower track and put the window back in. If parts on track are broken buy new ones. Use urathain to reinstall window.

Voltage fluctuations with a weak battery etc can cause loss of window memory. Start car, lower windows and hold the switch down for several seconds then repeat in the raised position. This will reset window positon memory.

At the end of the cable there's a nipple that attaches to the roller right? Is the roller still intact? If it is then good, for if the nipple of the cable can be put in place without a problem. If the roller is damaged, there's a possibility that the nipple will go off once the cable rolls.
You will need to attach the window controller while you fix this for it to roll up and down and for the cable to get in to the grooves. Once the end of the cable reach the end you can lock the nipple to the roller. You may need to apply a little force to push it in. Once it's in you'll be good.
If there's no nipple on the end of the cable then I believe it's broken. You will need to purchase a cable that has a nipple.
