I received a wrong item in my shipment

You have said they sent the wrong item. Check your original order to confirm you entered the correct order number for the item. If you have been ordering items from several businesses, make sure you are talking to the right party.

Have at hand your confirmation number and/or receipt and your order information and the date of the transaction. Keep the originals for your own reference in the future in a nice little folder you will be able to find until all this is settled.

Contact the seller to see what their returns terms and conditions for an exchange for the correct item
did you order the wrong item or did they send the wrong item if it was their fault you may have more rights but that all depends on your local consumer regulations

To be exact , the advice you received was to send back a faulty item for warranty fix or a new one
You say you did that
Now for the correction ,
WE would not have sent you anything as a replacement. That would have come from the shop to which you returned the faulty item
If the new one still is not satisfactory then send it back again and talk directly with the supplier, get a new unit or a refund

If you provided the proper information to the repair center and they sent it to the wrong place, they are responsible for it. Also did you send any information to the address that it went to in order to see if they got it?

I have had a personal problem with this many times in my auctions. I run a successful company that specializes in auctioning. With my personal experience I would just refund the item. Ive had the same things happen to me many times, and to avoid all the long, often drawn out process that is dealing with someone on the internet, I chose to end it quick. You also get out of any negative feedback by doing this. Make sure you only agree to a refund as "on return of item as sent" only. Good Luck!
