How to digitize an image for use on a Brother LB-6800

Which model machine is this? Do you know roughly how old it is? This is so I can check what setup it has and if I can find an owners manual for it for you.

Suspect uneven feed of top thread.

Please check the following;

• This machine has a horizontal spool. Try using a spool cap that is slightly larger than the spool. Verify spool is in proper orientation, and threaded per instruction. See page 19.
• Embroider foot "Q" is installed per manual instructions. See page 32-33.
• Feed dogs are down (supposed to happen when automatically table is installed but check and make sure).

There should be no looping of thread on bottom side. This would indicate top thread tension is too loose or uneven feed (spool cap and/or orientation). Suggest you preset tension prior to installing table using normal presser foot and single layer of same fabric and same thread. Select a straight short stitch (machine default) and tension 4. With a single layer of fabric, tension at 4 is likely high and you will see bottom thread loop on top side so slowly reduce tension until bottom thread no longer shows on top, Then switch to embroider setup and test run.

You may need to get the sewing machine serviced; the repair must be handled as if you are fixing a computer. The F05/F5 error indicates a problem with the timing shutter, the PCB board or the wiring between them.

If you are going to try this, first unplug the machine and check the wiring. Next clean the timing shutter if the wiring is undamaged. Replace the timing shutter if the error recurs. If the machine still gives the F05 error, the PCB board has to be replaced.

I'm not quit sure without checking but most of these machines have a picture of a mirror which will cause this. Just utilize this feature and it should take care of it.

Try taking the bobbin case out and re-insert. It sounds like the case that holds the bobbin is not inserted correctly. You might also try checking to be sure that the needle is inserted properly. Sometimes the needle gets loose and drops down too low. unscrew, push the needle up as far as it will go, then tighten the screw.

you may want to have the needle holder check to see if it needs
to be replaced.

I would try embroidering on a scrap of like material to get the tension you want. My Brother (different model) manual doesn't say any specific tension setting for embroidering but just says to set the tension right for the fabric to be worked. If the fabric is stretchy, I suggest using a little looser tension than say cotton, just make sure it doesn't pucker the fabric.

Autopunch is a very basic digitizing program and can not handle jpg images that has a lot of detail and colours. It can can handle simple clipart images with ease. If you want to embroider the logo ask someone who has a proper software program to digitize the logo for you and you should be able to to do the embroidery on your machine.
