SOURCE: Everstar MPK-10CR compressor keeps running after power off, on remote. Display blanks. Only shuts off when O/L @ wall plug tripped.

call in an electrician as there is a problem in the circuit allowing power from a neutral line and bypassing the switch

Everstar Model MPK 10CR What does flashing P2 mean

Quoting:

Everstar Model MPK-10CR, What does flashing P2 mean?
I have a manual and it only talks about the error, P1, when the water container is for. Says nothing about P2. The unit will just completely shut off and then the red light is flashing and P2 appears in the window.

The filter that allows the water to get to the pump is clogged. Since the pump can't pump the water into the drain bucket, it fills the bottom pan up, the unit shuts down, and the P2 error code is then displayed. Posted on Jun 29, 2011

    Where is the filter that is full that is not allowing the water to drain into the drain bucket, and is it something that can be cleaned? w_benjamin Jun 30, 2011
    It should be near the pump that pumps the water up to the drain bucket. Each model is different, on my Everstar it was located under the housing for the drain bucket. The back and front of the unit needed to be removed, then the housing for the drain bucket needed to be removed. Not that hard, but a lot of screws. Take it out, then clean it with some dish washing detergent.

How do you drain water from a LP1010snr air conditioner?

P2 means the water collection tank is full and needs to be drained. You have to pull the drain plug at the bottom of the unit and drain the water.
Drain the water (small amount actually) in the shower. Note: There is a cap towards the bottom of the unit that you will need to unscrew, then pull out the rubber plug. Fired up the unit after the water drain ... it worked fine.

LG LP0910WNR portable Air Conditioner error code P2 and shut down

P2 is a water tray full error. I had error once, and it had me puzzled because I have a tube from the back, and unit elevated. It was producing water out the back, so it was clearly draining.
Called LG (very prompt service, no wait times at all).
The girl said that error was water tray, I still didn't believe her.
So I pulled unit from location, and tipped at a good angle.
Sure enough, less that a cup of water drained, and now it works fine.

"OE" message

OE is actually DE - Drain Error. Pop open the little door on the bottom left of your washer, and unscrew the cap on the little tube on the left. ***Water will drain out!***
Once the water is out, unscrew the bigger tube on the right. This holds your drain filter. It is likely clogged, so clean it out and reinstall the filter and cap from the small hose.
Hopefully this fixes it!

Water is pooling in the bottom of the refrigerator. this model does NOT have an automatic ice maker, nor is connected to any water source. model #frt18g4awo

This is usually caused by the drain tube being plugged. There is usually a collector tray mounted under the refrigerator near the compressor and a small drain tube that runs into the refrigerator. The tube will plug with slime and green mold over time. Without knowing the model or make I cannot tell you for sure where the tray is located. If you find the tray you should see a tube laying into or hanging above the tray and running up to the refrigerator. Clean this tube and the little drain hole in the refrigerator with a pipe cleaner or soft piece of wire. Also check your door seals as a bad seal will also cause excess moisture to form in refrigerator, and children constantly opening and closing will also cause excess moisture to form and if the drain is plugged it will build up in the bottom.

Water won't drain

Hi fixitfran,

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.

Your problem is: You have pulled the dishwasher out and checked hose. No kink in line. You have taken cleaned out dishwasher and no clog. You poored water into dishwasher and it drains from the bottom not throught drain hose. You have checked the drain hose on the bottom of the dishwasher and to no avail....you don't know what is causing this issue....can I help you out with this? LG-14AW3 Dishwasher does not drain properly and then powers itself off mid cycle. Filters are clean and there are no kinks in the drain hose. How do you fix this and will it be very expensive.

Have you recently replaced the garbage disposal? Sometimes the installer forgets to remove the knockout plug. All of the disposal manufacturers plug the d/w connection in case it is installed where there is no d/w. If there is a d/w, the plug must be removed.

P1 and P2 error codes

Danby's Consumer Help Line (1-800-263-2629) is always busy. So, I called their General number: 419-425-8627. The receptionist transferred my call to their Service dept. My call was answered in 2 minutes.

The Service Rep. described the following code for my dehumidifier model (DDR657EE):
P1 = Defrosting: the unit will go into Defrost mode periodically to ensure that the parts are working at the right operating temperature. It should be in Defrost (P1) mode for only a brief period of time. If the unit is in Defrost (P1) mode continuously for a couple of hours (or more), then you should call Danby Service for further assistance.

He had no documentation of a P2 code for my model.

He also described other General Codes (applicable to most Dehumidifier/Humidifier models):
E1 = Not enough water
E2 = Not draining
E3 = Water temperature too cool
E4 = Overflow Switch activated
E6 / E7 = Problem with Temperature Sensor

I hope that helps.

Duet error code F 02.

Just had this problem. Remove the kick plate in front of machine. The drain pump filter maybe clogged. Turn the white screw to remove filter, but be sure to have towels or a bucket handy. I clean mine out and now is working fine.
