The Icom 756 Pro is a very expensive radio. If you bought one and it's not transmitting I really recommend taking it back. It could be anything from the mic, power supply, final transistors, board, anything really. It's going to need to be scoped and looked at in person.

Testimonial: "does works on 6000 up to 7499.00 7500.00 up to 8000.00, 9000.00 it not so, what happened"

Icom ic-756 pro 3.dead spots in TX and RX ,maybe pll ?

If the dial actually shows the 40M frequency, then the likely hood of the PLL not functioning is slim. My guess is that the band pass filter for 40M has a bad relay or steering diode in it. This happens more often than not and is a rather inexpensive repair. I have the same problem in my IC-706, except 20M is affected.

How come my icom 756 pro did not transmitting on 8000 frequency

You have to modify this radio to operate outside of the HAM bands. You will likely find the modification at www.mods.dk. This is a pretty common and easy modification for HAM radios. Your performance may not be as good as in the HAM bands.

You do this MOD at your own risk. If you are not licensed for operation on ANY frequency or band, you are not legally allowed to transmit. Heavy fines may be levied against you.

? new bp 200 replacment for bp 199 will not operate my ic t8e radio

The IC-T8E is the Icom VHF / UHF Amateur (or "Ham") transceiver capable of wide-band AM & FM receive and 6 meter (50Mhz - 54Mhz) , 2 (144Mhz - 148Mhz) meter and 70 centimeter (430Mhz - 450Mhz) FM only transmit - when appropriately licensed by your country's communications authority.

RigPix Database Icom IC T8E

Any FM transmitter operating in those frequency ranges will be received and played thru the speaker - unless they are encoded with a squelch decode sub-audible tone or digitally encoded squelch control that does not match the one set to the IC-T8E. Program the squelch to be open or to match that of the transmitter so that the radio will play only when that particular transmitter is transmitting.

An FM transmitter operating in APCO25, DSTAR, etc. will not be decoded as these are digital signals that the ICT82 is not capable of decoding.

I was unable to locate any "BP200" radio you mentioned, so I can't comment on their capabilities or if they have an incompatibility in encoding, frequency, etc.

Icom 756 when i press ptt the signal needle goes to zero

Hi Patrick,

You've got a great brand there.

The best info available on the web is by joining yahoo group specific to your radio Make/Model, the techs there will need as much info as you can throw at them so they can solve it quickly for you, plus you can download manuals, schematics and other goodies for your radio, and all of this costs $0.00 = FREE.

I know, I am a member and they are the best in the business

I hope you found this answer helpful.

Cheers,
Peter

Icom IC-7200 transmit problem on 1600.000 kHz to 1999.999 kHz

If the radio is made to be sold only in the US then the phase lock loop is disabled when your are trying to transmit out of the US band edges. Try looking up a MARS circuit mod for this model and it amounts to only clipping one end of a diode to enable the transmitter on all frequencies.
