Most chain saw chain sprockets are either 1/4 or 3/8" pitch
in your case I would suspect it is 3/8 pitch
measure the distance between the link pins ( not the teeth but the pivot pins of the chain itself )
after that the sprocket will be available as a generic sprocket from any chain saw shop or mower shop
Talons went bust but are being reproduced under a new brand name ( ozito I think)

Sharpening Chainsaw

Whether you learn to do it by hand or buy a saw sharpening attachment keeping a sharp chain is #1 in my book for keeping your saw running properly. The more pressure you have to exert to cut makes the saw run hotter, the bar wears out faster, the chain wears out faster and the sprocket wears out fast plus it's just plain harder on you to run the saw. In my timber cutting days I would file my chain every time I filled the saw with gas. Here is a helpful video for sharpening a saw. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkSYov5jcO0

Haveing problems cutting thick branches with chain saw it is sticky with sap and chewing up the blade blunt

If you have a low cc chainsaw, this is what happens with the tougher trees. Check what cc yours is. The more cc the more power!! For example, alot of the chainsaws you see for sale in Home Depot are ranging between 32cc and 40cc... you should have at least a 50cc and up...

Why won't my chainsaw prime?

if no gas will enter priming bulb at all I see only a few possible things for this
(1) gas line broken/melted
(2) filter looks good but has internal plug
(3) primer bulb has a small crack in it (most common )

Chainsaw drive rotates with chain but chain stops when asked to cut wood

You are either pressing down on the saw (riding it) too hard and causing the centrifugal clutch to stall OR the sprocket is completely worn out. If the sprocket is worn out so bad it won't move the chain it will make a horrific and ungodly racket.

Try lightening up your pressure and see if that helps. You should never stall the saw out as its only going to cut so fast. Keep the chain sharp and it'll almost drop itself through the timber with its own weight.

The part you are after is called a starter pawl, i know because the same thing happened to mine. Unfortunately you can't buy just the pawl, they only sell a flywheel kit which is about $35 which contains the flywheel and two pawls.

The chain will not engage

problem corrected.......I pulled the chain and bar off of the saw and discovered that the chain had seized up in the channel due to some slight "boggering" of some of the inside teeth that ride the groove on the edge of the bar. I filed the damaged metal on both sides of 8-10 damaged teeth (the chain was otherwise in good enough shape to continue to use). I then pulled the whole length of the loose chain through the chain sprocket end of the bar by hand to make sure that I had filed enough of the damaged metal away, before I reassembled the saw. There was slight damage to the drive sprocket, but not enough to prevent the saw from functioning properly. All is now well in the my chainsaw world......and the saw will get a new drive sprocket for Christmas.

Husqvarna 345 chainsaw chain doesn't move freely and heats up

has the chain ever came off the saw?and i'm going to assume that it is the correct chain for the saw...reason i ask about the chain comming off the saw is that when it does the driver have a tendency to become nicked and will heat up the clutch because the saw is trying to drive the chain links through the chain slot.also you need to look at the drive sprocket to see if there is any wear on the teeth....also over tighting the chain will cause the clutch to heat up.
