LIGHT, turntable, and fan don't come on

follow this test and fix it. God bless you
  1. Exhaust fan motor If your exhaust fan motor is not running, there are a couple of things that you can check involving the motor to locate the problem. After removing the fan motor, you can manually attempt to turn the fan blades with your hand. If the fan motor is working properly, the blades should spin effortlessly. If this does not occur and the blades are taught, the motor will need to be replaced. Secondly, the fan motor itself can burn out due to time and usage. Using an ohm meter, the exhaust fan motor should read open for continuity. If it does not, then the fan motor has expired and will need to be replaced.
  2. Thermostat Another part that could cause the microwave exhaust fan to not work is a faulty thermostat. A thermostat gauges the air temperature, which activates the exhaust fan when required. If this part becomes flawed, the exhaust fan will not energize and the thermostat will need to be replaced.
  3. Main control board If your exhaust fan is still not working and the microwave fan motor, wiring, and thermostat are operating accurately, the root cause could be with the main control board. Replace the main control board.

I have just replaced the fan for this oven as it had stopped spinning. However it appears not to be the fan that has broken as the new one behaves the same. One important obserbvation is that when you...

Strange one this. According to the wiring and circuit diagrams, the yellow wire from the fan should go to contact 4 on the main oven switch. The oven element is connected to the thermostat, which in turn is connected to contact 3 on the oven switch. When the oven is on the handbook says that contacts 1,3 and 4 are made, contact 1 being the oven lights. So if the lights come on and the fan turns, the switch is more or less working. The only other thing that overrides the oven element is the thermal cutout. If you still have the problem, let me know what the thermostat neon is doing in all of this. It will be interesting to see what this is doing. Also, if you want the handbook which includes the diagrams, post your email address and I will send you a pdf copy.

Indesit FID 20 WH fan double oven.when main fan oven turned on the fan does not operate .have to turn off and manually spin fan.turn oven back on and it seems to work.what could be the problem.thanks in...

The fan nneds replacing, as it has a tight or worn bearing/s, the fact that you turn it manually and it then goes, temporarily frees it enough to get it running, but the the only guarantted solution is to replace the fan motor.

Nef B1432 (2000) not heating up properly

You possibly need to fit a new fan motor, as this will certainly cause temp variations, if it is not working properly.
If you remove the inner rear cover of bottom oven, you will see the element and the fan.Try spinning the fan by hand, it should revolve freely, and rotate on its own after spinning it by hand.
If it does not, then it needs replacing.
It is a fairly straight forward job to replace, just bear in mind that the fan is held on by a left handed nut, so to undo it , hold the fan blade, and unscrew the nut clockwise, as though you were tightening it up, and vice versa to tighten it.

You will have to remove the main rear cover of oven to access the the terminals and the fan motor.

Please rate my fixya soution.
Thanks.
