Leave it charging for an hour without trying to turn it on. After an hour with its proper charger, turn it on.
Also, try holding volume up and power at the same time for 3 seconds.
Another way to perform the above is to look in the side SIM card slot for a red button. Push it gently for a second.
When I put it to charge the same keeps reapeting without stop. Is it okay? Is my phone bricked?
The volume up and power button solition didn't work.
Even the red button one.
It wouldn't be bricked if you didn't try to flash a new rom or unlock it. Try leaving it for an hour still.
Otherwise, you may need a new battery. Try borrowing one from somewhere to test before buying a new one.
One last other thing to try is Sony's Pc software. There may be a repair function that will fix this.
Did anything happen to the phone in its lifetime?
well I did try to flash a new firmeare sir
That's why all this happened.
Is there a way out of it
Ah, I see. You should be able to put it in download mode by holding the volume down key and plugging in the USB cable while the phone is off. If this doesn't work, try holding the menu button instead.
If it keeps cycling the error, you may have to time it just right.
Once in download mode, you can use a firmware flash tool to return it to the stock ROM.
Here's the recovery mode option if you can get to it your phone is not bricked:
Recovery Mode Sony Xperia arc LT15i
1. Turn power off the Sony Xperia
2. Press and hold the Volume Down key and Power key until device vibrates
3. Release Power key quickly but keep pressing Volume Down key
4. Release Volume down key when Android logo appears, you should be in the Recovery mode now.
Use Volume keys to select options and use Power key to confirm.
I'll try it..
Thanks
Here's a really, really good thread on ROM flashing/bootloader unlocking the the Sony Xperia Arc:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthre...
I'm extremely sorry that I didn't read ur com,net until now sir.... The Internet in my house was down until now.
After I said 'I'll try it' in the previous comment , I did try something..
What I did was that I flashed the Xperia arc LT15i firmware onto my phone since it was the original firmware..
I don't know whether it helped but now when I turn it on
It shows "SONY" and then "XPERIA" and then keeps reapeting itself..
I tried to fix it by trying to repair the software using PC Companion but it shows that it has modified software
And thus can't fix it..
Please help
Meanwhile I am going to try to once again flash the firmware using "EMMA"
Will that be okay sir?
