How do I download music to my PC to use one as a ringtone on my Android Phone?

You need to download a specific app in order to do this.

There are apps that allow you to download music directly to your phone, and other apps that let you change those audio files to ringtones. Nokia actually has it's own ringtone maker.

What kind of phone? Most newer phones have apps you can download for free to make your own ringtone but especially for iphones it is not easy. If you are somewhat tech savvy search your phone model in google and "custom ringtones"

If not so tech savvy its easiest to shell out the money for a already made ringtone of the music you want. Only purchase ringtones from official stores on your phone
Ex; Iphone: Itunes
Android: android market or google play.
I suggest not using your computer to buy ringtones or searching for ringtones on your computer browser in general. Theres lots of scams out there.

You should be able to use the songs as ringtonesby selecting music instead of system sounds when trying to assign ringtones.
I know that certain music apps don't allow the songs to show up when trying toassign ringtones. You can move the songs to: sdcard - media - audio - ringtonesand you should be able to find them then. Good luck

Similar to all Android phones, open up your contact list and find the person who you wish to apply the ringtone to. After opening up their contact information, scroll down and find the button that says something along the lines of "Add Sound/Ringtone". Then hit save contact. Good luck!

Copy and paste your ring tones or music to My Documents/My Ringtones folder. You will be able to select the music or tones at the Sounds and Notifications setup page.
To save space on your memory, you can also store it in My Storage which is the 8 or 16GB card.
Create a folder called My Ringtones under My Storage. Put all your MP3 songs in My Storage/My Ringtones.

USB Cable and Device Drivers can be purchased separately via the Music Essentials Kit compatible with this device. 3. From the main screen on your phone, the SYNC MUSIC V CAST MOBILE PHONE display appears. Your phone should display the message: Connected. Connection may take a few seconds. 4. Drag and drop the song(s) you want to sync from My Library, to your V CAST Music with Rhapsody mobile phone, listed under the Sources tab. Once synchronization is complete, press the END/Power Key and disconnect the USB cable (purchased separately). 5. Under the Music & Tones menu, open My Music to view and play your music. • A compatible USB cable (sold separately) is required for syncing. • Music can also be purchased via V CAST Music with Rhapsody through your PC.

you have to serach the net for the mobile phone tools software once you have that and install it on your pc then and only then can you load music and ringtones to your phone......or you can just buy a bluetooth adapter to your pc and that way you can also transfer music and ringtones to your phone.
