just a thought make sure your antanna hasent come unplugged if it hasent you most likely have lost the fm band channels in you radio. i hope this helps it was just a thought
Pull it all out again and start again, starting with just the bass module and left and right speakers, plug in the fm radio antenna, and tune it in if necessary. work with the radio first, then when you get that working, plug all of the other speakers in, then try a dvd, after that continue plugging in any other connections you may have i.e set top box etc. Good Luck!
hi there..there are few ways on installing xm into your car..you can use the FM Modulation that you're doing before..it goes like this...make sure that you're xm radio is turn off( with all the wirings unplug).....then, you just have to go on a blank channel(e.g 90.1) on your car radio...afterwhich, turn on your xm radio and go to MENU....and look for FM settings...and select the same frequency you have into your car radio...and just have to wait for 5 to 8 secs and you should be getting the prev. channels.....
IF: you're only getting prev. channels such as 1, 130 etc...you just have to call xm to send a refresh signal OR you can go to www.refresh.xmradio.com if you want to save more time...just type in your 8 digit radio I.D....
IF:
you're not getting the FM settings.....you just have to click the MENU and select the 'default settings/factory settings' then turn off/on your radio to save the changes...
i'm sure it'll work nowq at this time....Godbless!
Basically, you just need to have the antenna unplugged when you power up, and push menu right away, then select. Not sure why, but it worked on all of my Roady XTs. On the oldest one I had to push menu more than once. Good luck!
