Usually when errors come up, you can reference the product manual to find out the specific meaning of your error. So, please do this first. If you don't have the manual, please call the manufacturer of your product (ie Kipor) in order to gain information of the meaning. In the mean time, I would advise to shut down the generator or at least use a air volatility detector until you determine the meaning of the error.

remove the recoil section from the air shroud or if welded on remove the air shroud
If you have never replaced a cord , it may be quicker to take it to any mower shop to have it done as it can be frustrating to get the spring tension correct when winding in the new cord

I have a KIPOR 12 Sta that is still virtually brand new, it totally refuses to start. I do not have a compression tester but it certainly feels like it has no compression. has anyone else experienced this problem?
