Go to service and and clear the error

then press 2 & 8(Two buttons single time)
Again press Asterisk *
COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR Then press ok an off the machine wait 1 minute and on the machine..

hi . that error indicate that the cleaner roll ( in the fixing unit )is over . maybe there is a sensor disconnected or misplaced. check That section and clear error from service mode copier / function / clear / err ok.
This is just a shot in the dark, but if there is no "reset" button, you might try unplugging it for a couple of minutes and it should reset itself to factory default settings. You will loose any settings and any work in progress. Just a guess. If you have an owner's manual, I would check there to find how to solve the problem. You also might want to enter the "menu" if there is one, and discover whether you can solve the problem there. If you don't have an owner's manual, you might be able to find one at the printer manufacturer's website in the support section. Good luck.
Your machine appears to think it's waiting for a file (like an update). Somehow it was put into download mode (only a canon tech would know how to). You need to have a canon technician to either reset the machine or if there is a legitimate problem put it into factory default.
It may be a hard drive error from my experience.
