The touchscreen is so off center it doesn't work at all and need to get into the service/admin mode to calibrate it. How do I do this without a working touch screen? We had an engineer out who actually sorted the problem via calibration, but would like to know myself to save time and a trip.
I´m looking for help solving a Similar touchpad calibration issue on Bizhub.
We have an old Bizhub, apparently 500 (the name in South America is Imagistic im2520f).
We were doing a maintenance procedure.
We accessed touch screen calibration option.
We made a mistake during process:
We pressed calibration points that appear on screen in a wrong way:
We clicked over the "arrows" instead of clicking over the "crosses" in the screen corners.
After touching over the wrong places, we confirmed the calibration.
It was working perfectly before. But now, after wrong calibration, touch screen is totally miss calibrated.
We can't go back to the calibration option to re calibrate it.
If we repeat all steps to enter calibration screen, we get blocked on the last step, as follows:
1. We press micro switch to reset.
2. When a dot (.) shows up at the center on the left-hand side of the screen, we enter number (3) from the 10-Key Pad.
3. We enter the 8-digit service code (00000000).
4. Here i get stuck: we cannot press "END" button, as the screen is miss calibrated.
Is there any option to enter screen calibration without touching touch screen?
Thank you very much
Remove the Compact Flash Cover. Located Right side next to where the network cable is installed. Remove the cover, using a small screw driver or small plastic stick depress black button gently. Called the Warm Restart switch.
When "." appears at the center on the left-hand side of the screen, enter "3" from the via 10-Key Pad. Enter the 8-digit service code and touch [END]. (Default value: 00000000) if required.
Touch [Touch Panel Adjustment] from the Initial mode screen.
Following the arrow mark, touch the four points (+) sequentially on the screen using a pen. DO NOT USE A SHARPE POINT!!!!!.
