We opened up the cord assembly and the cord could be pulled out all the way, but when we put back together, it was still stuck...how can I fix this?
If the recoil will only pull out a little and it appears to be good when you removed it, then pull the plug on the engine and pull the recoil rope 3 times all the way. Important - watch the plug hole each time to see if black debris blows out. Then squirt 1 time WD40 in the cylinder head thru the plug hole. Clean, gap the plug or replace if required. LM19 I think, plug is marked. RE-install plug, attach laminator connector. Pull recoil rope again, should be free if engine isn't seized. Make sure oil has been changed this year, 30W, and is full. Check air filter also while you are doing this basic maintenance.

We didn't get a chance to work on the lawn mower until Sunday, but my husband turned the mower over and after scalping the yard, the underneath was caked in dried dirt and grass. After cleaning everything off, it cranked first time. Thanks
