The main tv is working nicely but all the others are not giving us beatiful pictures.i can change channels on all tvs but the quality of the pictures is poor
Assuming all your other tv sets are in good condition a poor picture is usually related to a poor signal.
You don't give details of how many aerials you have or whether you have a single aerial with multiple downleads, which would have been useful...
Different tv's have different amounts of rf gain and so naturally need different amounts of signal strength for optimum performance.
When I had a new aerial fitted I went for overkill and had the shortest possible aerial downlead into the roof space and a six-way distribution amplifier feeding a separate downlead into every room. Using double-shielded low-loss coax this system provides a better signal-to-noise ratio and overall signal strength than the traditional long downlead and splitters.
One of my sets needed a large attenuator, one set needed a small attenuator and the third set was happy with the signal strength as it was. A basic signal strenth meter is available from many outlets fairly cheaply and is a worthwhile investment.
