Battery good no head lights or power to concel

Sounds like a flat battery. Just enough to power your lights but not enough to power the starter motor. Try recharging the battery.and check battery connections are good.

I also agree with electrical power failure. Either the battery or the alternator is not charging enough current.

check the voltage supply of your alternator, it must be supplying more than 12v and less than 14V.

Some cars have inline fuses in the battery cables and have multiple connections for components making one get power and others not. If all your fuses are good, the next thing to look at is the electrical part of the key switch. Usually there is the mechanical part with the tumbler, and the electrical part.

Start with the battery. Make sure it is at a full state of charge, at least 12.6 volts on a voltmeter. If it is under 12 volts have it charged, or if battery is over 4 years old, best to replace it.

With a good battery, clean all battery connections. Get rid of all corrosion so you have a clean metal to metal contact. A solution of water and baking soda helps a lot. Replace questionable battery cables. Then get a good tight fit on all cables, battery, starter, and ground.

Now if you still have no power to anything, lights, or switch, horn, anything...then you will have to find the fusible links just off the battery that distribute power to the head light switch, to the key switch, to parts of the fuse panel, etc. If fusible links blow, they can be cut out and replaced. They act like fuses, designed to burn out to protect the rest of the circuit from burning up from a short or amperage surge from a shorted electric motor. Once you get power to the lights and the key switch, you should be good. Go from there.

check voltage at main fuse box (what car)? and those fuses.
to fix electrical , "nothing" means , bad head lights.
so that very simple system is the most easiest to diagnose.
voltage at the head light fuse, (no) then move back to the engine bay
fuse box for power on all fuses there (large fuses)
at one point you get 12v (HL are hot all the time)
between the last bad point and the good 12v point is the section that is open circuited.

Look at the main power supply battery junction block . Fusible link's . Firewall driver side . These power up the whole vehicle . Do you have a voltmeter ,do you know how to use one to test B+ voltage ? Look at the diagrams ,get out the voltmeter an test for B+ voltage where it's suppose to be.

It sounds to me that if your battery is good and you are not getting any power to flow thru out the truck, I would check my negitive battery cable to be absoulutely sure it is ggrounded. Power will not flow if the truck is not properly grounded.

Use a wire brush to clean the battery terminals and the inside of the battery cables where they connect to the battery terminals. If that doesn't fix it, I suspect the problem is the negative connection from your battery to the car body/engine block. Follow the thick cable from the negative terminal of the battery to where it connects to engine block. Make sure you have a good clean metal to metal contact. Use an ohm meter to check to make sure this cable and connection is good. If the connection to the engine block is bad the hood light might still be able to work if it has a separate connection to the negative battery terminal.

You didn't give me a lot to go on but I'll try. First make sure the battery has a good charge. If the head lights come on and all the electrical items power up than the battery terminals should be ok. If not or the lights dim badly when you try to key start clean the battery terminals. If it still will not crank, (turn over,) than it is more than likely the starter. Good luck.
