Kenmore Series 70 Top Load Washer Direct Drive Model # 110.20722991 Serial# CL 1134809 Wet Clothes after Spin Cycle

Wet clothes at end of the spin cycle. Machine agitates, drains and spins. Ran a short cycle with no laundry. Agitates then when it goes to rinse, the machine begins spinning with the tub full of water. It spins all of the water out. Should the machine drain at the rinse cycle then spin? Should it spin when full of water?

Many machine spin a full tub as they are pumping the water out
this helps to even out the washing load and reduce the unbalance situation
when the water is removed , the machine progresses the program to a high speed spin
call a technician as there may be a problem in the program board

Kenmore Series 70 Top Loading Washing Machine Model # 110.20722991 Serial# CL 1134809 Hello, Our washing machine is leaving our clothes soaking wet when finished. What could the problem be?

2 things are possible. Can you tell if the spin cycle is engaging? If the spin cycle is not engaging properly or very fast, then the water will not leave the clothes. less likely is that the machine is not draining the water away properly or fast enough.

Have a kenmore washer and I have to run everything thru 2 spins cycle

If the washer doesn't reach its proper spin speed, the clothes may be too wet at the end of a cycle. Check to be sure the load is properly balanced and run a spin cycle again. If the clothes are still wet, you may have a worn clutch.

Wet Clothes and some sandy crud left at spin cycle end

Make sure you plugged the wires back in that you unplugged to take the case off. The plug located under the panel. This is you lid switch and if it's unplugged it will not spin clothes out. If it is plugged in, you might want to go back and take the pump off. Once you have, check inside the drain tube that connects from the pump to the tub. Make sure there is nothing inside it. Sometimes lint will build up inside it, clogging it.

Kenmore 70 Series Washing Machine Drains, But Won't Spin

Yes sir, a bad motor coupler could cause the machine not to spin. You did the right thing in checking out the lid switch and the pump first. It sounds as if the motor coupling is worn and may be slipping. I will attach a link to a video that may assist you. Hope this helps and best wishes.

Kenmore 70 series washer will not spin, clothes are too wet

Not a belt, this is only a sound deadening devise on the brake housing. Not really needed. Replace the coupler

Wet clothes at end of spin cycle

sounds like your transmission is not working properly. check your warranty information. (should be in your owners manual) many of the whirlpool made top loaders came with a 5 year warranty on the transmission/gear case

Series 70 kenmore elite washing machine

If it goes through the complete cycle o.k. except for the slow spin then the motor itself needs to be checked.
