mode is like hour , or day , or minute and the other is what adjusts the hour , day or minutes
so press one for about 3 seconds and the screen should flash say for hour-press the other button and keep doing it if it only alters once until you get the required hour
press mode again to set that hour
press mode again to move to minutes and repeat the procedure until you have it all set press mode to mset the final setting
