E68 is a stuck button error code... There is a diagnostic video for this on YouTube. You will have to get a new control board to fix the problem because the buttons are part of the board... Frigidaire Dryer Main Control Board 134557200

I have a totally unrelated solution. Remove your lint filter. Now remove the waffled plastic that covers the lint filter slot. Hint, its inside the dryer, and there's two screws holding it in. Be careful, because there's two wires connected to the metal strip on the bottom edge of it. That metal strip is either the temperature or moisture sensor, I bet. Don't drop the screws into the lint filter slot. If yours is like mine, you'll find that a lot of lint has built up around the contacts for those two wires. Carefully clean all the lint, and reinstall. While you have it opened up, stick your vacuum's crevice tool down inside the lint filter slot and clean up all the lint in there as best you can. Problem solved. I think the build of of lint was shorting the two contacts, and this was screwing up the electronics.

the thermistor in air outlet duct is very common for these. with front panel off find plastic duct from blower at bottom. pull out thermistor and look at inner side. it has triangular shape and if you can see shiny redish color at tip instead of all black then its worn. this causes numerous heat and control issues.

this is a fault code that means there is a stuck key on the board you may have to remove the control panel and check the keys if this does not work you may have to replace the panel or control board

Hi friends, I fixed my dryer some time ago by adding a 1/2 watt 10kohm resistor to the dryness button to ground as a pulldown to ground, usually read 19kohms in that input, after perform the button tests you will see that the dryness button is not working, and after soldering the resistor you just need to clear the error flag and will work as expected. any nore questions write to [email protected]
