Running mixer to receiver??? does the mixer have rca (red & white) audio outputs? if so you can run it that way and hookup to whatever input you want on back of stereo. If it doesn't then you can buy a 1/8" stereo jack to rca and run out of headphone out. (will need a 1/4" headphone adapter though).

How do you connect tape deck to pmp 4000

Hi, use the RCA/Phono connections for the Tape In & Out. The level will be set by the Master/Main fader. If that is not so convenient (& assuming it's a PMP4000?) there should be a "Main 2" output & connections with the level controlled separately to Main 1 via a Knob / Rotary control over to the right above the "Mono" fader... Hope that helps... Good Luck!

I have connected a laptop to a Phonic MM 1002a mixer, Do you need to use both Channel A & B on Peavey M - 2600 Mark V Stereo Am

This depends on what you are trying to do. If you want a mono output from the amp switch it to mono mode and go into one input on the amp, this will mean the amp only works mono.

If your source is stereo you will need to use two inputs on the mixer and pan them both to the side you will be sending to the amp. This will cost you two mono inputs on the mixer though.

If you have anything stereo this is the route you will need to take but I don't see why you would want to do this as surely you'd be better running everything stereo (two channel) and panning any mono signals where you want them and leaving stereo as stereo.

Can I connect only one speaker to a yamaha emx 312 sc power mixer?

First it is certain that you would not want to plug both outputs of the stereo power amp into one speaker combining both channels into the same speaker. (see image from manual below - also link to manual)

Next I would be very concerned about only using the one side of the main amp out as it could cause an unbalanced load, or you could be driving the load into dead air connection and any of these conditions are destined to cause premature failure of the power amp.

Taking a quick scan of the manual for this unit, it appears what is pretty common to most powered mixers, hook up two matched speakers/loads to each chanel of the output.

Your best bet is to shed those monster cabs, there really is no need for them especially with this sized powered mixer, and get yourself a nice pair of full range cabs like EV1202;s, EV SX300's, or some nice 2 or 3 way 15" JBL's/

Just my opinon.

Why not un-complicate the circuits by eliminating the soundboard first?

Getting distorted sound when connecting from mac pc headphone jack to 1/4" line in input

You are connecting a NOISY unbalnced line to a balanced input. Buy a DI box and then use an XLR to XLR to the mixer inout and run the MAC into the DI with "ground lifted". You will need to make a resistive mixer between the headphone jack and the DI as well. The headphone jack is STEREO. You COULD try a STEREO 1/8 inch splitter to 1/4 inch left and right cable... you MIGHT get away with that. Right now the left and right amps in the MAC are fighting eachother.

Marshal mg15fx : Noise when i connect the amp to a mixer.

Mixer uses balanced outputs, this unit does not... Also ground loops can be a problem. Make sure this and the mixer are BOTH powered from the same receptacle. The next problem is that the level of the mixer is MUCH too high for an amp designed to recieve guitar signals if you are sending a mixer into this. It is NOT clear how you are connecting this to a mixer... IF you happen to be trying to send signals from this to a mixer, either use a mic OR use a Direct Input box. You should tell us exactly how you are connecting this to the mixer since there are MANY ways, and most do not make sense.

Im trying to connect a peavey kb300 with a mackie micro series 1402-VLZ 14 channel mic/line mixer

The mixer is stereo and the amp is mono. The line level out of the mixer MAY overwhelm the KB2 regular inputs so try running the mixer into the PA input jack.

Amps ? stereo intergrated amps ?

Since the mixer has a line level output, yes you can use a home stereo for the "AMP". Use the AUX IN, TAPE IN or CD IN on the stereo and connect the speakers as you normally would.

Using the USB connection to send the stereo mix to a computer

You have to insert a track into Reaper "arm" it. If you can't figure it out, I'd suggest posting in the Peavey forums.
