On the Alcatel a206g, how can I tell when the battery is fully charged? Does the light change color?

The Unlock code is the one that you or the previous owner put on it. There is no way to know what code you put on it.

The only way to fix this is to do a Factory Reset and scrub it clean of all data and reload the operating system clean with no lock code.

If you see a battery icon, your phone is powered off and is charging. You can restart right away.
If you see a red light, your battery is fully discharged. If the red light is flashing, there isn't enough power to turn on. Charge your phone for at least 30 minutes before restarting.
If you don't see a battery icon or red light after you plug in your phone, the issue could be with your screen.

If the phones battery was allowed to fully discharge you'll have to leave it charging for a few hours before it will even think about powering up.

Help with what ? You asked the mfr, you got the answer. We cannot magically increase the memory in your phone nor affect the way in which images are taken / stored. Are you saving the images to the phone memory or the SD card ?
