SOURCE: will crank but runs rought them cuts off

Sounds like water in the fuel, or old gas. Drain the tank into a suitable waste container. Drain the carburetor float bowl, and the fuel line. Reattach the fuel line, and clean the float bowl out. (BE careful of the float bowl gasket!)

Replace the float bowl, and add fresh gasoline. I would use at least 91 octane. (NO gasohol!)
You may have to run it for a while to straighten it out.
Also remove the spark plug, and see if deposits have built up on the center and side electrode.
Todays gasoline has all kinds of additives in it. Some are designed to keep deposits from building up so much. (In truth, all gasoline is the same)
These small engines, usually require changing the spark plug at regular intervals.

SOURCE: Karcher pressure washer with Honda GC160 engine only runs on chok

You need to remove the carb bowl, then with a small flat screwdriver remove the jet. ( on the side, at the bottom of stem.) take a small wire or toothpick and clean the gunk out of the jet, reassemble and open fuel valve, start, and pat yourself on your back.

SOURCE: Pressure washer with Honda Engine GC160 only run

The carb is clogged. It needs to be cleaned, or replace. Keep in mind some of the carb passageways are as small as a human hair so they are difficult to clean which is why I mention replacing. You can try using carb cleaner etc in the gas, but I don't think it will work if you need the choke that much.

SOURCE: What type of oil is needed for a Honda GC160 Power

The type of oil recommended for that engine is SAE 10W-30 and the capacity is 0.61 quarts. This and more can be referenced at the website at the end of this solution. I was able to find the owners manual of your particular engine.
