SOURCE: my volume menu from monitor pops up, volume auto-decreases

Was something spilled on the volume key? Sounds like it is stuck... you can use a fine toothpick and plain water to "scrub" around the key, there may be some buildup that inhitbits the key from "unpressing".

Hope this helps!

I have a kkmoon nvr. It turns on but no signal on my screen

If your KKmoon NVR is turning on but there's no signal on the screen, here are a few things you can try to fix the issue:
  1. Check the HDMI cable: Make sure the HDMI cable is securely connected to both the NVR and the monitor. Try using a different HDMI cable to see if that resolves the issue.
  2. Check the NVR's settings: Make sure the NVR is configured to output video over HDMI. Go to the NVR's menu and look for a setting related to video output or display. Check that the correct output option is selected (e.g., HDMI).
  3. Check the monitor's input: Make sure the monitor is set to the correct input for the NVR. If the monitor has multiple input options, you may need to switch to the one that's connected to the NVR.
  4. Restart the NVR and monitor: Sometimes a simple restart of the NVR and monitor can resolve the issue. Unplug both devices, wait for a few seconds, and then plug them back in.
  5. Check the cameras: Make sure the cameras are configured and working properly. You can try connecting each camera directly to a monitor to see if they are working.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may need to consult the NVR's user manual or contact the manufacturer for further assistance.

Mouse pointer disappers

I've seen this happen a couple of times when Word uses the initial preview "Read Mode" or Protected View . Try changing the mode by clicking on the View tab and changing the mode to Print Layout. When it happens to me, that seems to do the trick. If you don't want Word to use the Protected View, go into the Trust Settings for Protected View and uncheck the options in there...this may also keep it from happening in the future...good luck! :-)

HDMi screen doesn't turn on

First, remove your HDMI-cable from your monitor and pc, then plug it back in.

If this doesn't work, go to your desktop and press your right-mouse button at an empty space and then select resolution. Then press detect.

I hope this works.

PL191M works for 10 seconds, then goes off with small green light blinking. If I turn it off and back on again, it works for 2 seconds and goes back off. The owner's manual says to push the upper...

There is a couple of possibilities and things to eliminate.
Your monitor is acting like it's not getting a signal. First make sure your video cable is plugged in and tightly connected with the screws fully torqued down. Test the video card by wiggling the connected cord to see if the monitor comes on even temporarily. Try opening the case and re-seating the video card.
If you can get the monitor to stay on long enough go into the control panel and the properties page and make sure you screen saver or power management for energy savings is not set to zero.
If it's new you may have to go the your control panels add remove components and un-install the video card then re-install the driver again. Windows is famous for this requirement.
If you are using this as a second monitor connected to a laptop you will have to hit the corresponding function key on the top row of your keypad, F4 or ?...., to open the port to avail the signal.
On a mechanical level at the monitor depress the Menu button and try a few sizing adjustments to bring the picture back to shape.
Cable - HDMI, USB, VGA ? You may need an adapter to get the signal VGA to HDMI etc.
We need more information but try these things to start.

You need to set the monitor up. I have a 42" LCD TV, and there is a menu where you can set the aspect ratio to 'Auto', 'Full Screen', or "4:3". I had a similar issue with my DVD player. I'm sure if you go through your monitor setup menu, you should be able to solve this problem.

Make sure she installed the envision driver. I jus saw it's a discontinued product. Also this product has a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024.

If installed check her resolution. Right mouse click on desktop>properties>screen. Try alternate resolutions and see what happens but don't set it higher then 1280 x 1024 if possible.
