Sep 20, 2022 - You need your password or PIN to unlock a Fire tablet if those options are set. To turn them off so you don't need to use them in the future, go ...
If you set a pass code (or pattern) that you cannot remember, please enter the wrong password (10-20 times) until you are prompted to sign in via your google account. Please note, this will only work if you have already setup your google account on the tablet. If you have not set up a Google (or Gmail) account on the tablet, you will have to perform a firmware install, which will revert the tablet back to factory settings
Isn't that only used when you forget your password? The most obvious thing is to check your wireless network connection. I get my laptop and the tablet interfering all the time and have to disable and then re-enable it and the connection is fixed. It may also have not been set for your account (I do not have one since those e-mail accounts are all expired) or the other account is no longer active but not deleted.
If you are using Windows OS; go to control panel select user accounts. Choose your account and click change password. Make sure you put a hint in for lost password, write it down or something. Forgetting it can be a headache. Hopefully you have an administrator's account and your account. If you forget the administrator account can still get in. Good Luck.
I imagine you have Windows XP. If so, try this: Start the computer in safe mode. Choose the Administrator account. If your computer is like 90% of the computers I've seen, no one has password-protected this account. Once in, go to the control panel and choose Users; From there, you can change your password to one you remember. Next time don't forget it.
turn on ur lap keep pressing f8 many times choose safe mode click on adminstor or admin it depends on your windows version u'll see a black baground forget about it just click on start ----> control panel ---->user accounts and familly safety ------> choose (your account name) remove password then save hope my answer make u feel satisfied
For your tablet, to get Yahoo! mail you have to activate POP setting; to activate pop on your Yahoo!Mail account you have to pay for it. Now, if you once signed up for Yahoo! Mail Plus, add a new email account
to your email program with the following POP and SMTP settings:
1. Yahoo! Mail POP server: plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com 2. POP port: 995 3. POP TLS/SSL: yes 4. POP user name: your Yahoo! ID 5. password: your password
1. Yahoo! Mail SMTP server: plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com 2. SMTP port: 465 3. SMTP TLS/SSL: yes 4. SMTP user name: your ID 5. SMTP password: your password
In case you will have some errors/problems having such settings you have to:
# Log in to Yahoo! Mail # select OPTIONS > MAIL OPTIONS > go to POP/FORWARDING > choose VIEW POP on Yahoo!Mail Server.
is it windows xp? reboot pc, press f8 before the computer loads windows..so just keep hitting it, but not too much, and choose safe mode. choose to login to the administrator account then go to control panel, user accounts, select the user account you forgot the password for and select reset password. reboot and you're good.
