I tried this.. and it works perfect for the video.. but there is no audio. Is there any specific setting to be made in TV or my laptop? I have Dell laptop with Win7, because I dont see any option to enable audio..
does it have HDMI INPUT/OUTPUT? OR Audio video input/output? First you must have a cable for either of those two. HDMI (from the lcd tv) to HDMI (vcr/dvd combo).
audio/video input (from the lcd) to audio/video output (from the vcr).

Connect yellow video output on DVD player to yellow video input on TV using RCA cable. Connect white audio output on DVD player to white audio input on TV next to yellow. Connect red audio output on DVD (next to white) to red audio input on TV using RCA cable. Select on the TV using remote, the proper input for DVD player connection.
Look at rear of the Combo and you will observe input and output
RCA connections.Using RCA leads, hookup the Av output of the Panasonic
to the audio/video input of the LCD . Connect the AV output of the Sky box to the AV input of the Panasonic
combo.

do the convertion and that's.
1. cable box video out to video 1 in on the lcd , audio out to reciever input 1 ( tv, vcr , or what you want it on )
2. dvd s-video output to lcd video 2 s-video input , dvd audio out to reciever dvd/cd audio input , and add the optical or coax cable digital audio for dolby digital surround sound
